Negative Declaration

Livingston County - The Livingston County Water and Sewer Authority, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Lakeville Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Improvements will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves upgraded to the Lakeville WWTP to meet the requirements of the 2013 State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (SPDES) permit and the upcoming TMDL for the Genesee River watershed. Upgrades include addition infrastructure need for ammonia and phosphorus reduction in the effluent as well as improvements to the existing processes. Five (5) new structures will be constructed at the WWTP as a part of these upgrades including, new primary and secondary clarifiers, two (2) new bio-towers, a new trickling filter, and a new chemical feed building.

2020 Revision:
The additional updates to the WWTP include the following: Influent building improvements, Primary and Secondary Clarifier upgrades, new Ultraviolet Disinfection system, Pump Station improvement, Sludge handling process upgrades, new Sludge Storage building, site security upgrades, and various additional site improvements.

The project is located at 1997 D'Angelo Drive in Lakeville, New York.
