Negative Declaration

Nassau County - The Village of Hempstead Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 145 Franklin/Faith Baptist Senior Housing Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the demolition of an existing two story structure and development of the 1.58 acre site with a new 5 story (263,000 square foot) mixed use building. The project includes 244 residential units, indoor and outdoor recreation space, and 8,951 square foot of commercial space and 130 parking spaces. The project is located at 145 Franklin Street in the Village of Hempstead, New York.

Suffolk County - The Nissequogue Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Ahmed Bluff Restoration will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the installation of approximately 410 linear foot of armor rock wall at the toe of existing slope and provide terracing on the remainder of the slope with plantings and grass seed. The project is located 2 Yens Way in Nissequogue, New York.
