Negative Declaration
Suffolk County - The Town of Brookhaven Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Chapter 85 Amendment - Commercial Redevelopment District (CRD) will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the creation of a new zoning code in the Town of Brookhaven entitled "Commercial Redevelopment District (CRD)" which is to be a "floating code" that may be landed on applicable parcels that are or were used as health clubs, bowling alleys or shopping centers and will permit a variety of mixed uses in order to redevelop these areas which may no longer be socially and/or economically viable. The project is located throughout the Town of Brookhaven, New York.
