Negative Declaration

Erie County - The Town of Evans Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Water System Improvements Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a new composite style water tank with access driveway and associated controls and monitoring systems. In addition, a 12 inch PVC water main will be installed along Greninger Road and run south until it runs into Southwestern Boulevard. The water main will then run northeast along Southwestern Boulevard, within the northern right-of-way, and connect to an existing 12 inch water main. This project will provide the Town of Evans with effective water storage and firefighting capabilities. In addition, the work will include the construction of a new pump station with backup generator, access driveway, and associated controls and monitoring systems within a permanent easement along Eden Evans Center Road. In addition, the existing 10 inch cast iron pipe that runs along Eden Evans Center Road will be modified to divert to the pump station. The project is located in the Town of Evans, New York.
