Negative Declaration
Seneca County - The Town of Tyre Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Love's Travel Center will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal by Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores, Inc. (Love's) to construct a modern, state-of-the-art travel center on vacant farmland off NYS Route 414 adjacent to the eastbound off-ramp of the NYS Thruway (I-90) in the Town of Tyre, New York (Project). The Project will be located on a portion of a parcel containing approximately 71.0 ± acres (Property). The proposed travel center would include a new 14,750 ± square foot primary building housing a convenience store with two accessory quick-serve restaurants (one with a drive-thru), a new 11,250 ± square foot detached accessory tire repair center, separate fueling islands and canopies for cars and tractor trailers, parking for approximately 71 cars and approximately 78 tractor trailers, stormwater management facilities, utilities, site lighting, new LED-illuminated signage, landscaping, and other associated improvements.
