ENB Region 8 Notices 6/24/2020

Negative Declaration

Wayne County - The Town of Arcadia Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Water District No. 15 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of new watermains and related appurtenances on portions of Parker Road, Fisher Road, Jungle/Lee Road, Minsteed Road, Hyman Road, Sand Hill Road, Decker Road, Cauwels Road, and Steel Point Road within the Town of Arcadia, New York, in order to provide public water to the northwest quadrant of the Town. The project will also include a new control valve station on Hydesville Road, near the Arcadia-Palmyra town line. The control valve station will likely be an underground concrete vault (approximate dimensions 13 foot long x 7 foot wide x 7 foot deep), housing the control valve, piping, and other components. Residents located within the northwest quadrant of the Town currently experience quantity and/or quality limitations with their individual well supplies. A public water extension will provide a reliable and quality water source.
