Project Description:

Targeted herbicide treatment of Eurasian milfoil (Myriophyllum spicatum), an identified invasive species in the state of New York, and curlyleaf pondweed (Potamogeton crispus) by administering Sonar H4C in Pleasant Lake, Town of Champion, Jefferson County. Approximately 40,000 square feet of New York State mappeded freshwater wetland C-6 and 5,000 square feet of the associated adjacent area will be treated.

SEQR Lead Agency: None Designated

State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:

The proposed activity is not subject to review in accordance with SHPA. The application type is exempt and/or the project involves the continuation of an existing operational activity.

Coastal Management:

This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

DEC Commissioner Policy 29, Environmental Justice and Permitting (CP-29)

It has been determined that the proposed action is not subject to CP-29.

Project Description:

Remove existing sewage outfall structure and construct a new outfall structure within the bed and banks of Big Creek in the Town of Marshall, Oneida County. Construction of the new outfall will result in 106 linear feet of bed and bank disturbance and the placement of 5.58 cubic yards of fill below the mean high-water mark of Big Creek.
