Negative Declaration

Orange County - The Town of Montgomery, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 915 Route 17K LLC 3 Lot Subdivision, Special Use Permits and Site Plan for Warehouses and Office will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal the applicant, 915 Route 17K, LLC, for the approval of a 3 lot industrial subdivision, special exception use permits and site plan approval for a property on Route 17K for the following: Lot 1 for a potential 74,050 square foot warehouse; Lot 2 for a potential 59,640 square foot warehouse; and Lot 3 for a 1,000 square foot office building. If a different use is identified for lot 3, the applicant will have to return to the Planning Board for Site Plan review and, if required, a Special Exception Use permit. The entire site consists of 17.9 + acres on which a portion of New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) Wetland WD-35 is present. The site also contains a closed and capped construction and demolition (C&D) landfill, which is shown on the site plans along with the monitoring wells and the limits of the remediation area. The site is located within Town of Montgomery Sewer District. Potable water is proposed to serve the site from a well to be drilled on proposed Lot 2. The project is located at 915 Route 17K Town of Montgomery, New York.

Orange County - The Orange County Water Authority, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Dwaar Kill Pine Bush Water Supply will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the installation of water wells, treatment building, and 10,500 linear foot of water main from the well field to the existing Pine Bush Water Supply. The project is located throughout the Town of Pine Bush, New York.
