Negative Declaration

Rensselaer County - The North Greenbush Common School District, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 2019 Capital Project (Little Red School House) will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the subdivision of a 30 ± acre parcel owned by Lasalfe institute into two lots to facilitate acquisition of a 3.3 ± acre parcel by the School District and merger with its existing Little Red Schoolhouse parcel. The combined 3.4 ± acre lot will contain the existing Little Red Schoolhouse which will be expanded with an approximately 4,000 square foot addition. Site improvements will also include an expansion and reconstruction of the parking lot with an internal bus route, new access ways, new stormwater drainage facilities and new playground equipment. The proposed improvements will be connected to municipal sewer and water services and storm water will be managed on-site. The project is located in North Greenbush, New York.
