Project Description:

Construction of a 40' x 80' pole barn to be used for the seasonal storage of Saratoga Lake Sailing Club owned boats. Construction of the pole barn will result in unavoidable impacts to DEC regulated Freshwater Wetland Q-11 (class 1) or the regulated adjacent area.

Project Description:

MPM currently owns and operates a silicones manufacturing facility and has a Part 373 permit for the treatment, storage and disposal of hazardous and industrial non-hazardous wastes on an approximately 800 acre site in the Towns of Waterford and Halfmoon, Saratoga, County, New York. The facility is located on both sides of Routes 4 and 32, west of the Hudson River in the vicinity of Campbell Island. This MPM facility was issued a renewed New York State 6 NYCRR Part 373 Hazardous Waste Management Permit on March 1, 2016. The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has made a tentative determination to issue a permit modification application from MPM Silicones, LLC to increase the secondary containment capacity for Tanks 39 and 40 and use a new tanker at permitted hazardous waste transfer stations at their facility located in Waterford, NY.
