Emissions Statements - Reporting and Inventory

Emission Statement Reporting

The following documents are intended for use by the regulated community to assist with the submission of Emission Statements pursuant to 6 NYCRR Subpart 202-2.

The deadline for submitting the 2020 Emission Statements is April 15, 2021.

Electronic Reporting

Electronic reporting of emissions data through the Air Compliance and Emissions (ACE) Electronic Reporting is highly recommended. ACE is a secure web-based electronic data transfer program used by DEC's Division of Air Resources to receive emissions inventory reports from Title V facilities.

NYS regulations do not currently require electronic reporting; however, there are benefits to using ACE that are worth consideration such as:

  • accessing previous years' data to populate current reports
  • obtaining previous years' reports
  • printing reports to mail to the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA)

A list of NYS Title V facilities, and the air pollutants emitted from those facilities, are available at Open Data NY starting with 2010.
