Electronic Reporting

Electronic reporting of emissions data through the Air Compliance and Emissions (ACE) Electronic Reporting is highly recommended.  ACE is a secure web-based electronic data transfer program used by the Department's Division of Air Resources to receive emissions inventory reports from Title V facilities.

New York State regulations do not currently require electronic reporting; however, there are benefits to using ACE that are worth consideration such as:

  • accessing previous years' data to populate current reports
  • obtaining previous years' reports
  • printing reports to mail to the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA)

Stationary Source Emission Inventory

The Division of Air Resources has compiled a listing of all New York State Title V facilities and the air pollutants emitted from those facilities. The data are available in a statewide table containing all facilities and counties. For ease of finding a particular county, the data are also organized by county into smaller tables.

The facility information includes:

  • The county in which the facility is located
  • The facility's DEC ID number
  • The facility name; and
  • The SIC (Standard Industrial Classification ) Code, used to indicate the industry to which the company belongs

The air pollutants listed are:

  • CO – Carbon Monoxide
  • CO2 – Carbon Dioxide (2011 and beyond)
  • HAPs – Hazardous Air Pollutants
  • NOx – Nitrogen Oxides
  • PM2.5 – Particulate Matter less than 2.5 microns in diameter (2010 and beyond)
  • PM10 – Particulate Matter less than 10 microns in diameter
  • Particulates – Total Particulate Matter
  • SO2 – Sulfur Dioxide
  • VOC – Volatile Organic Compounds
