Sign up for GovDelivery

DEC's Division of Environmental Remediation is committed to informing and involving the public during the investigation and cleanup of contaminated sites being addressed under the State's various remedial programs. DEC invites you to receive site information by email by signing up for the DEC Delivers service. It's quick, it's free, and it will help keep you better informed.

How To Sign Up

DEC uses the DEC Delivers service to send news and updates to your email on many topics that cover nearly every aspect of our work. You can also sign up to receive contaminated sites information from only those counties you select:

  1. Enter your email address in the DEC Delivers box to the right and click "Submit."
  2. You will be taken to the DEC Delivers "New Subscriber" page. Here you will confirm your email, select how frequently you'd like to receive updates, and choose a password (optional). Once you have done this, click "Submit"
  3. You will see all the topics that you can subscribe to. To subscribe to contaminated sites information for select counties, scroll down to "Environmental Site Cleanup and Permitting Information by County"
  4. Click on the + sign in the small box next to the category to expand it to see all the counties
  5. Click a box to select a county; Click the box again to un-select a county; select as many counties as you want
  6. Enter your zip code and enter "Submit"

You will get an email from DEC Delivers listing all the counties that you have subscribed to.
