Explore the world of winter plants and see what next summer’s wildflowers will look like. For adults only.

This site is located in the Borough of Brooklyn, within the County of Kings, and is located at 1885 Atlantic Avenue. Public comments about the application and draft work plan must be submitted by January 28, 2022.

Notice of Availability for Public Comment - New York State Draft 2020-2022 Clean Water Act § 303(d) List of Impaired Waters

This notice announces the availability of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation's (NYS DEC) Draft 2020-2022 Clean Water Act (CWA) Section 303(d) List of Impaired/Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Waters. This list identifies waters which do not meet applicable water quality standards and do not support applicable best uses, thereby requiring a TMDL. The 30 day public comment period commences on December 29, 2021. Comments will be accepted through January 28, 2022.

Never tried snowshoeing before? Now is your chance! We'll go over the basics of how to put snowshoes on (and take them off), walk, and turn. We'll go outside to put our new skills to work on a short walk. Snowshoe rental fees are waived.

Space is limited. Call 518-475-0291 by Wednesday, January 28 to register.

The outdoor portion of this program will be conducted on foot if there is insufficient snow.
