Autumn is a perfect time to sow wildflower seeds, as many of them need winter's cold temperatures to germinate in the spring. Come by our native plant garden next to the traffic circle to go on a seed scavenger hunt. Get your own “seed bomb” kit to take home! Your local bees and butterflies will thank you in the spring. Families welcome.

To maintain social distancing, the naturalist will only be able to talk directly with one family at a time during this drop-in program.

For the safety of our visitors, staff and volunteers, and in compliance with guidance from New York State, the New York State Department of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), social distancing practices must be followed. Masks must be worn throughout guided programs, while at a roving program, and on the trails whenever a 6-foot distance cannot be maintained between individuals or households.
