Join DEC's Hudson River Estuary Program staff for a tree planting as a part of the Scenic Viewshed Restoration at Mills-Norrie State Park in Staatsburg, NY.

DEC has partnered with NY State Parks & Historic Sites and the Student Conservation Association to finalize this ecological restoration project, meant to demonstrate best practices for restoring the ecology and beauty of recently cleared scenic views. The work will involve planting and protecting trees and shrubs, removing invasive species, and sowing meadow seed within the viewshed of a newly-created Hudson River vista.
