A public comment hearing to hear and receive unsworn comments from the public will be held on January 19, 2022 at 6:00 p.m on the draft scoping document for the Hyland Landfill Expansion project facility located at 6653 Herdman Rd., Angelica, NY. The hearing will be conducted electronically through WebEx Events.  Any person wishing to provide a public statement must register in advance of the hearing no later than 3:00 p.m. on January 18, 2022. To register, visit https://www.webex.com, click "Join a meeting," input the event number listed below, click "Register," and fill in the requested information. After registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation by email with information about how to join the hearing.

To register by telephone: Any person who is not able to login electronically and would like to speak at the public hearing may participate by telephone. DEC has received a Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) application and Draft Remedial Investigation Work Plan for a site known as 340 Myrtle Avenue, site ID #C224340. This site is located in the Borough of Brooklyn within the County of Kings, and is located at 340 Myrtle Avenue. Public comments about the application and draft work plan must be submitted by January 21, 2022.
