DEC has received a Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) application for a site known as 1200 Jefferson Avenue Site, site ID #C915346. This site is located in the City of Buffalo, within the County of Erie, and is located at 1200 Jefferson Avenue. Public commnts about the application will be accepted through June 12, 2020.

Public comments about the application and draft work plan must be submitted by June 13, 2020.

Suffolk County Parks is co-sponsoring this fun family fishing event. Geared toward beginners and families, education stations will focus on fish identification, casting techniques, regulations, and stewardship practices.

Fishing will follow instruction & educational portion of program.

Location: Hard’s Lake, Southaven County Park, Victory Avenue, Brookhaven

Cost: A parking fee may be in effect

Directions: From Sunrise Highway, take exit 58 north. As you enter William Floyd Parkway, prepare to turn west onto Victory Avenue. Follow signs to main entrance to park.
