Amphibian Migrations & Road Crossings Program – 2023 Virtual Volunteer Training

Join DEC’s Hudson River Estuary Program and Cornell University to learn how to volunteer with the Amphibian Migrations & Road Crossings Project. Volunteers find Hudson Valley locations where migrating salamanders and frogs cross roads on their way to vernal pools for breeding in late winter and early spring. They document weather, traffic, and species, and assist amphibians across the road safely.

The virtual AM&RC volunteer training will be online on Tuesday, February 28, 5-6:30pm

Visit DEC's website https://www.dec.ny.gov/lands/51925.html to learn more and to register.
