ASMFC is accepting public comment on Draft Amendment 7 to the Interstate Fishery Management Plan (FMP) for Atlantic Striped Bass (PDF) through April 15, 2022.

The Draft Amendment proposes new options to the FMP to help rebuild the stock and significantly update the management program. Two public hearings will be hosted throughout New York’s Marine and Coastal District to gain input on the Draft Amendment's development.

A virtual public meeting has been scheduled on Wednesday March 16, 2022 at 7:00 PM via WebEx (virtual platform) to discuss the no further action remedy proposed for the Dzus Fastener Co., Inc. site #150233 (West Islip, Suffolk County) within New York's State Superfund Program.
