Five Rivers BioBlitz, June 3-10
Help us celebrate Five Rivers’ biodiversity by taking part in a BioBlitz. Our goal is to take inventory of the species of plants, animals, and insects that live at Five Rivers. From June 3-10 you can participate by submitting your observations online via iNaturalist or by joining an organized BioBlitz event. Five Rivers will be hosting themed activities for all ages to enjoy throughout the week so the whole family can get involved.
Saturday, June 3, 8:00 a.m. - Join us for an early morning walk to see and hear what birds we have at Five Rivers, with the help of an expert birder. Beginners are welcome. Bring binoculars if you have them, but we will also have binoculars available to borrow. The walk will last roughly two hours, but feel free to turn back at any time. Meet outside the visitor center at 8:00 am.
Please call 518-475-0291 to register. Everyone is welcome, regardless of knowledge or experience. You will be contacted in the event of a weather-related cancellation.
