The NYS Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) invites stakeholders to attend a virtual public meeting, via WebEx, on the chemicals under consideration for listing as Chemicals of Concern (COCs) and High Priority Chemicals (HPCs) for the Toxic Chemicals in Children’s Products (TCCP) program. This virtual public meeting will take place on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at 10:00 am, Eastern Standard Time (New York). DEC will present an overview of the enacted TCCP law and discuss the chemicals under consideration for listing as COCs and HPCs that manufacturers will need to report if present in children’s products. Please note that DEC is soliciting feedback on these chemicals under consideration and will post them on our website in advance of the meeting. Additionally, please note that this will be a pre-rulemaking meeting and DEC anticipates releasing a proposed rule with additional public comment opportunities after feedback at this meeting is obtained.

If interested in attending this virtual public meeting, registration is required. Register via Webex.

This calendar provides a listing of all DEC-sponsored events that are open to the public. You can click on any event in the calendar to view additional details about the event. Note that the events at environmental education centers will only display in the region in which they are located, even though they serve residents from adjacent areas. We welcome people with disabilities to all of our programs. Please call the contact number ahead of time to let us know your specific needs and we will be happy to learn how we can best serve you.

We would appreciate receiving feedback from our users. Please let us know if you encounter any difficulties viewing or using this calendar by sending an email to the DEC webmaster.
