DEC Lands and Forests staff met with stakeholders (landowners, cooperating foresters, etc.) to discuss proposed regulation changes to the 480-a Forest Tax Law in several events across the state this spring. For those who were unable to attend in person, we are offering a webinar.

The webinar will be held on Tuesday, April 30 from 12pm-2pm. During the webinar, staff from DEC's Bureau of Forest Resource Management will describe the Forest Tax Law as it exists today and proposed regulation changes, as well as gather input from webinar attendees.

To access the webinar, you will need to pre-register ahead of time. Get your registration ID and login instructions at: https://cornell.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_FoD3_HQ2T4md20-c7gfUgg. If prompted for a password, use "Cornell". Keep your registration email to access the webinar day-of.
