DEC Lands and Forests staff are meeting with stakeholders (landowners, cooperating foresters, etc.) to discuss proposed regulation changes to the 480-a Forest Tax Law in several events across the state this spring. These events are open to the public. For those who are unable to attend in person, we are offering a webinar.

The webinar will be held on Friday, April 5th from 10:00 am-12:00 pm. During the webinar, staff from DEC's Bureau of Forest Resource Management will describe the Forest Tax Law as it exists today and proposed regulation changes, as well as gather input from webinar attendees.
