Reassignment - Currently in the title and an employee of DEC

Reinstatement Eligible - Previously held the title on a permanent competitive basis or held a title as indicated under the transfer eligible section on a permanent competitive basis.

Transfer Eligible - One year of permanent competitive service at Salary Grade 3 or higher and either:
Transfer eligible under Section 70.1 - permanent competitive service as an Office Machine Operator, Business Document Specialist Trainee, Calculations Clerk 1, Clerk 1, Commissary Clerk 2, Data Entry Machine Operator, Data Entry Machine Operator Trainee, Employment Insurance Reviewing Clerk Trainee 1, Hospital Patient Services Clerk 1, Keyboard Specialist 1, Law Department Document Specialist Trainee 1, Licensing Services Clerk Trainee, Mail and Supply Clerk, Nursing Station Clerk 1, Treatment Unit Clerk and trainee. Also any language paranthetics for the above titles.
Eligible for transfer under Section 70.4: Must meet the open competitive minimum qualifications - see below.

Open competitive (provided for 55b/c candidates and 70.4 transfer eligibles): Bachelor's degree.

55-b/55-c Candidates must meet the open competitive minimum qualifications listed below and include with their resume or application, a copy of the letter from Civil Service which indicates approval for the 55-b/55-c program.

Open competitive (provided for 55b/c candidates and 70.4 transfer eligibles): There are no additional education or experience requirements.
