K-9 Unit Public Relations
Public Outreach is an important duty of the Division of Law Enforcement. The K9 Unit is a primary means of informing the public of the variety of duties and responsibilities of New York's Environmental Conservation Officers. K9 Handlers and partners perform over a hundred demonstrations per year to various groups, speaking with thousands of people statewide. If you would like to speak with someone regarding a K9 demonstration for your group, please contact your local DEC Law Enforcement Office.
