The International Network for Environmental Compliance and Enforcement (INECE), is an international partnership to promote effective environmental compliance and enforcement of requirements of domestic environmental laws and international environmental agreements through networking, capacity building and enforcement cooperation. It grew out of a common recognition that environmental enforcement is essential to protect public health and the environment and to secure both environmental and economic benefits sought from development and international trade.
