§268.1 General classification

(a) The air quality within the political boundaries of Clinton County shall be maintained using Levels II and I as set forth in Part 256, Ambient Air Quality Standards--Classifications System, for the areas described in the following sections.

(b) The classification of the air over Lake Champlain and its islands shall be the same as the classification of the adjacent land mass.

§268.2 Level II

All that area within the following boundaries:

(a) The corporate limits of the Village of Dannemora.

(b) East of a line commencing at the junction of the United States-Canada International Boundary and Interstate Route 87 (Northway); thence southerly along Interstate Route 87 to Route 348; thence southwesterly along Route 348 to Slosson Road; thence westerly along Slosson Road to the Altona-Chazy town line; thence clockwise along the Altona town line to Old Military Turnpike; thence southerly along Old Military Turnpike to Beekmantown-Plattsburgh town line; thence westerly along the town line to Akey Road; thence southerly along Akey Road to Route 3; thence westerly along Route 3 to Goddeau Road; thence southerly along Goddeau Road to San Road; thence easterly along San Road to Shingle Street; thence southerly along Shingle Street to Flat Rock Road; thence easterly along Flat Rock Road to Austin Road (Farnsworth Road); thence southerly along Austin Road to Norrisville Road; thence easterly along Norrisville Road to Conners Road; thence southerly along Conners Road to Peasleeville Road; thence easterly and southerly along Peasleeville Road to Calkins Road; thence southerly along Calkins Road to Barney Downs Road; thence easterly along Barney Downs Road to River Road; thence easterly along River Road to Arthur Jarvis Road; thence southerly along Arthur Jarvis Road to Union Road; thence southerly along Union Road to Davern Road; thence easterly along Davern Road to Route 22; thence southerly along Route 22 to the Adirondack Park boundary; thence easterly along the Adirondack Park boundary to Lake Champlain.

All that area in Clinton County not delineated as Level II.
