§285.1 General classification

(a) The air quality within the political boundaries of Monroe County shall be maintained using Levels III, II and I as set forth in Part 256, Ambient Air Quality Standards--Classifications System, for the areas described in the following sections.

(b) The classification of the air over Lake Ontario and its island shall be the same as the classification of the adjacent land mass.

§285.2 Level III

All that area bounded by a line commencing at the Greece-Gates town line and Long Pond Road; thence southerly along Long Pond Road to Lyell Road; thence westerly along Lyell Road to Wegman Road; thence southerly along Wegman Road to Route 33 (Buffalo Road); thence easterly along Route 33 to Pixley Road; thence southerly along Pixley Road to the Gates-Chili town line; thence easterly along the town line to the Rochester-Monroe County Airport; thence northeasterly along the airport boundary to Brooks Avenue; thence easterly along Brooks Avenue to the Barge Canal (Rochester city line); thence southeasterly along the Barge Canal to the Rochester city line (east boundary of Genesee Valley Park); thence counterclockwise along the city line to Atlantic Avenue; thence westerly along Atlantic Avenue to Winton Road; thence northeasterly along Winton Road to the Rochester city line; thence counterclockwise along the city line to Empire Boulevard (Clifford Avenue); thence westerly along Empire Boulevard to Culver Road; thence northwesterly along Culver Road to Waring Road; thence northwesterly along Waring Road to Norton Street; thence westerly along Norton Street to Portland Avenue; thence northerly along Portland Avenue to the Rochester city line; thence counterclockwise along the city line to Seneca Road; thence northerly along Seneca Road to Titus Avenue; thence westerly along Titus Avenue to St Paul Boulevard; thence northwesterly along a straight line to the intersection of Dewey Avenue and Maiden Lane; thence westerly along Maiden Lane to Long Pond Road; thence southerly along Long Pond Road to the beginning point.

§285.3 Level II

All that area bounded by a line commencing at the Greece-Parma town line and Lake Ontario; thence clockwise along the Parma town line (Manitou Road and Town Line Road) to Union Street; thence southerly along Union Street to the Governor Thomas E. Dewey Thruway (Interstate Route 90); thence easterly along the Thruway to the Pittsford-Mendon town line; thence easterly along the town line to the Monroe-Ontario county line; thence easterly along the county line to Turk Hill Road; thence northerly along Turk Hill Road to Whitney Road; thence westerly along Whitney Road to Route 250 (Fairport Nine Mile Point Road); thence northerly along Route 250 to the Penfield-Webster town line; thence easterly along the town line to Salt Road; thence northerly along Salt Road to Schlegel Road; thence westerly along Schlegel Road to Route 250 (Webster Road); thence westerly along a straight line to the junction of Holt Road and Shoemaker Road; thence westerly along Shoemaker Road to VanAlstyne Road; thence northerly along VanAlstyne Road to Herman Road; thence westerly along Herman Road to Drumm Road; thence northerly along Drumm Road to Vosburg Road; thence westerly along Vosburg Road to Lake Road; thence westerly along Lake Road to west bank of Irondequoit Bay inlet; thence northerly along the inlet to the Lake Ontario shoreline to the beginning point.
