§290.1 General classification

The air quality within the political boundaries of Oneida County shall be maintained as set forth in Part 256, Ambient Air Quality Standards--Classifications System, using Levels III, II, and I as detailed below.

§290.2 Level III

All that area within the following boundaries:

(a) Commencing at the intersection of the New York State Barge Canal and the Oneida-Herkimer county line; thence southwesterly along the county line (Utica city line) to Bleeker Street; thence westerly along Bleeker Street to the New York State Central Railroad; thence westerly along the New York Central Railroad to Genesee Street; thence southwesterly along Genesee Street to Sauquoit Creek; thence northerly along Sauquoit Creek to the Whitesboro village line; thence northwesterly along the village line to Clinton Street; thence northeasterly along Clinton Street to Mohawk Street; thence northeasterly along Mohawk Street to the New York State Barge Canal; thence southeasterly along the Canal to the point of beginning.

(b) Commencing at the intersection of Routes 233, 365, and 69; thence westerly along Route 365 to Route 26; thence northerly along Route 26 to the New York State Barge Canal; thence westerly along the canal to a point due south of the intersection of Route 49 (Route 69) and St. Charles Street; thence due north to said point; thence northeasterly along St. Charles Street to Liberty Street; thence southeasterly along Liberty Street to Jay Street; thence northeasterly along Jay Street to Embargo Street; thence southeasterly along Embargo Street to Floyd Avenue; thence northeasterly along Floyd Avenue to Bloomfield Street; thence southeasterly along Bloomfield Street to Garden Street; thence easterly along Garden Street to Culverton Street; thence easterly, southeasterly and southerly along Culverton Street to Nock Street; thence southeasterly along Nock Street to Ganeswort Drive; thence southwesterly along Ganeswort Drive to Route 49; thence southerly along a straight line to the point of beginning.

§290.3 Level II

All that area with the following boundaries:

(a) The corporate limits of the Village of Camden.

(b) The corporate limits of the Village of Boonsville.

(c) The corporate limits of the Village of Waterville.

(d) Commencing at the intersection of the Oneida-Herkimer county line at Cosby Manor Road; thence northwesterly along Cosby Manor Road to Grace Road; thence northwesterly along a straight line to the intersection of Browns Gulf Road and Route 8; thence northerly along a straight line to the intersection of the Deerfield, Marcy, and Trenton town lines; thence northwesterly along the Marcy town line to Malory Road; thence southwesterly along a straight line to the intersection of Morgan Road and Cavanaugh Road; thence westerly along a straight line to the intersection of Fox Road and Route 12C; thence northerly along Route 12C to Powell Road; thence northwesterly along a straight line to the intersection of Ritchie Road and Route 365; thence westerly along Route 365 to the Old Floyd Road; thence westerly along Lee Center Stokes Road to Thomas Road; thence southwesterly along Rabbitt Road to the Rome city line; thence counterclockwise along the Rome city line to the Lee town line; thence northerly along the Lee town line to Westernville Road; thence westerly along Westernville Road to Lee Center Stokes Road thence westerly along Lee Center Stokes Road to Thomas Road; thence southerly along Thomas Road to West Thomas Street; thence southerly along West Thomas Street to Link Road; thence southerly along Link Road to Route 69; thence southeasterly along Route 69 to Tannery Road; thence southwesterly along Tannery Road to Route 49; thence westerly along Route 49 to the Rome city line; thence counterclockwise along the Rome city line to Route 26; thence southerly along Route 26 to Eureka Road; thence southeasterly along Eureka Road to Bartlett Road; thence southeasterly along Bartlett Road to Creaser Road; thence southeasterly along Creaser Road to South Street; thence easterly along South Street to Route 233; thence southerly along Route 233 to Route 12B; thence easterly along Route 12B to Grant Road; thence southeasterly along Grant Road to South Street; thence northeasterly along South Street to Fountain Street; thence northerly along Fountain Street to the Clinton village line; thence northeasterly along the Clinton village line to Kellogg Street; thence southeasterly along Kellogg Street to Red Hill Road; thence easterly along Red Hill Road to the New Hartford town line; thence counterclockwise along the New Hartford town line to Butler Road; thence southerly and easterly along Butler Road to Orchard Street; thence due south to Paris Hill Road; thence due east to Route 8; thence southerly along Route 8 to Crooked Hill Road; thence easterly along Crooked Hill Road to the Clayville village line; thence counterclockwise along the Clayville village line to Church Road; thence northerly along Church Road to Mohawk Street; thence northerly along Mohawk Street to Pinnacle Road; thence easterly along Pinnacle Road to Eckhard Road; thence northeasterly along Eckhard Road to Roberts Road; thence northwesterly along Roberts Road to the New Hartford town line; thence easterly along the New Hartford town line to the Oneida-Herkimer county line; thence northeasterly along the county line to the point of beginning except those areas delineated as Level III.

(e) Commencing at the intersection of Peterboro Street and the Oneida-Madison county line; thence northeasterly along Peterboro Street to Youngs Road; thence easterly along Youngs Road to Stuhlman Road; thence northerly along Stuhlman Road to the Vernon village line; thence clockwise along the village line to Sconondoa Creek; thence westerly along Sconondoa Creek to Williams Street; thence northerly along Williams Street to the Vernon-Verona town line; thence westerly along the town line to Sconondoa Road; thence westerly along Sconondoa Road to the Oneida-Madison county line; thence southeasterly along the county line to the point of beginning.

§290.4 Level I

All that area in Oneida County not delineated as Levels III and II.
