§307.1 General classification
(a) The air quality within the political boundaries of Suffolk County shall be maintained using Levels III, II, and I as set forth in Part 256, Ambient Air Quality Standards--Classifications System, for the areas described in the following sections.
(b) The classification of the air over the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, Long Island Sound, and Block Island Sound and their islands shall be the same as the classification of the adjacent land mass.
§307.2 Level III
All that area south and west of a line commencing at the Suffolk-Nassau county line and Northern State Parkway; thence easterly along Northern State Parkway to Sagtikos State Parkway; thence southerly along Sagtikos State Parkway to Robert Moses Causeway; thence southerly along Robert Moses Causeway to its terminus; thence due south to the Atlantic Ocean.
§307.3 Level II
All that area west of a line commencing at a point on Long Island Sound due north of the junction of Riverhead Road and Ridge Road; thence due south to said point; thence southerly along Ridge Road to Middle Country Road; thence easterly along Middle Country Road to William Floyd Parkway Extension; thence southerly along William Floyd Parkway Extension to Moriches-Yaphank Road; thence southeasterly along Moriches-Yaphank Road to Route 27A (Montauk Highway); thence due south to the Atlantic Ocean; except that area delineated as Level III.
§307.4 Level I
All that area in Suffolk County not delineated as Levels III and II.
