Sec.
§309.1 General classification
The air quality within the political boundaries of Tioga County shall be maintained using Levels II and I as set forth in Part 256, Ambient Air Quality Standards--Classifications System, for the areas described in the following sections.
§309.2 Level II
All that area within the following boundaries:
(a) Commencing at the intersection of Tallmadge Hill Road and Route 17; thence due northwest to Route 34; thence southwesterly along a straight line to the intersection of Waverly Street and Waverly village line; thence counterclockwise along the village line to the New York-Pennsylvania State line; thence easterly along the State line to Ellistown Road; thence northerly along Ellistown Road to Tallmadge Hill Road; thence northerly along Tallmadge Hill Road to the beginning point.
(b) Commencing at the New York-Pennsylvania State line and Pennsylvania Avenue; thence northerly along Pennsylvania Avenue to Beach Road; thence westerly along Beach Road to Holmes Road; thence westerly along Holmes Road to Montrose Turnpike; thence northerly along Montrose Turnpike to the Owego village line; thence clockwise along the village line to Routes 38 and 96; thence northerly along Routes 38 and 96 to Carmichael Road; thence northeasterly along Carmichael Road to East Beecher Hill Road; thence northeasterly along East Beecher Hill Road to Pultz Hill Road; thence easterly along Pultz Hill Road to Lisle Road; thence northeasterly along Lisle Road to the Newark Valley-Owego town line; thence easterly along the town line to the Tioga-Broome county line.
§309.3 Level I
All that area in Tioga County not delineated as Level II.
