Part 317: Yates County

§317.1 General classification

(a) The air quality within the political boundaries of Yates County shall be maintained using Levels II and I as set forth in Part 256, Ambient Air Quality Standards--Classifications System, for the areas described in the following sections.

(b) The classification of the air over Canandaigua Lake, Keuka Lake, and Seneca Lake shall be the same as the classification of the adjacent land mass.

§317.2 Level II

All that area within the following boundaries:

(a) The corporate limits of the Village of Penn Yan.

(b) Commencing at the junction of Route 14 and Long Point Road; thence due east to the Seneca Lake shoreline; thence northwesterly along the shoreline to the Dresden village line; thence counterclockwise along the village line to Route 54; thence southeasterly along a straight line to the beginning point.

§317.3 Level I

All that area in Yates County not delineated as level II.
