Part 88: Sport Fishing In The Oyster Bay National Wildlife Refuge

§88.0 Introduction

The regulations governing sport fishing in the Oyster Bay National Wildlife Refuge, Oyster Bay, New York, shall be as follows.

§88.1 Sport Fishing

Sport fishing from the shore of Oyster Bay Mill Pond and access thereto by walking is permitted during daylight hours. The refuge is delineated on a map available at the Target Rock National Wildlife Refuge Headquarters, Target Rock Road, Lloyd Neck, Huntington, NY 11743. Sport fishing shall be in accordance with all applicable State regulations.

§88.2 Other Provisions

The following provisions shall apply to each person while sport fishing in the Oyster Bay National Wildlife Refuge.

(a) Each person shall secure and possess the required State license.

(b) Each person shall comply with the applicable provisions of Federal law and regulations.

(c) Each person shall comply with the applicable provisions of the laws and regulations of the State unless further restricted by Federal law or regulations.

(d) Each person shall comply with the terms and conditions authorizing access or use of the wildlife refuge areas.

(e) Each person shall comply with the provisions of this Part. Such special regulations are published in the Federal Register and are available at the Target Rock National Wildlife Refuge headquarters.

§88.3 General Provisions

All applicable provisions of the Environmental Conservation Law and rules and regulations of the department shall be in effect under this order.
