DEC Exhibits at the New York State Fair
August 21 - September 1, 2008
DEC offered lots for you to see and do at this year's Fair, from our giant Aquarium with an outside deck featuring a "Green Home" display to our Log Cabin complete with a nature trail. Below are links to posters and featured handout materials.
At the Aquarium
Visit DEC's Aquarium to see live native New York State fish. Buy your fishing and hunting licenses, talk to Environmental Conservation Officers, get a subscription to the award-winning Conservationist magazine, and enter to win a canoe!

On the Deck (outside the aquarium)
Outside on the Deck, get a free drink of ice-cold water, make your own environmental button, and take a tour of a "green" home for ideas on how you can help protect the environment. Don't forget to have your passbook stamped to enter the canoe drawing!
