The following interactive online maps are available on the DEC website.
State Recreational Lands Interactive Mapper
The State Recreational Lands Interactive Mapper can be used to create custom maps of recreational trails on DEC lands throughout the state to help people plan outdoor activities.
Environmental Facilities Navigator
The Environmental Facilities Navigator accesses an interactive utility to locate facilities of environmental interest. These include: superfund sites, facilities with significant SPDES discharges, air emission sources, active solid waste management facilities, facilities discharging certain types of wastes, major electric generation facilities, plus sediment and other deposits in the bed of the Hudson River, mines, state recreational lands and other recreational features.
Environmental Resource Mapper
The Environmental Resource Mapper is an interactive mapping application that can be used to identify some of New York State's natural resources and environmental features that are state protected, or of conservation concern.
Mineral Resources Navigator
The Mineral Resources Navigator is an interactive utility to locate mines and oil, gas and other regulated well types. The information is refreshed nightly. Information on these sites are available through this application.
Stormwater Interactive Map
The Stormwater Interactive Map is an interactive mapping application used to look up geographic information related to the Phase II Stormwater Program. It can also be used to find geographic information useful for construction projects, including the geographic coordinates for a site.
Chronic Wasting Disease Containment Area Interactive Map
The Chronic Wasting Disease Map is an interactive mapping application used to lookup test results for white-tailed deer in the Oneida-Madison containment area.
Hudson River Estuary Benthic Mapper
Benthic Mapper displays data about the Hudson River's sedimentary floor in its geographic context. Benthic Mapper's data and maps are valuable for understanding, managing and restoring estuary habitats, for responding to environmental incidents, and for understanding sediment and contaminant transport.
