DEC to Brief Public on the North River Sewage Treatment Plant

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) is hosting two community meetings regarding the North River Sewage Treatment Plant, the agency announced today. DEC will brief attendees on its oversight of the New York City Department of Environmental Protection's sewage treatment plant.

A project team of engineers, consultants and attorneys will give a formal presentation including a briefing on a $1.25 million environmental benefit project for the West Harlem community.
