Emergency Maintenance Scheduled Tomorrow For Lower Locks Between Oseetah Lake and Second Pond
The Lower Locks between Oseetah Lake and Second Pond in Saranac Lake will be closed on Wednesday, May 23, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation announced today.
The locks require emergency maintenance to the hydraulic rams which operate the doors. Maintenance should only last one day and the locks should be fully operational for the holiday weekend. An announcement will be made when the locks are reopened.
