"Discover Norrie Point"

A Monthly Series of Nature Walks at Norrie Point Environmental Center

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation's Hudson River Research Reserve continues its series of monthly nature walks at Norrie Point Environmental Center in Staatsburg, N.Y.

January's family friendly program, "Winter Wonders Walk", will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 2 PM. Did you ever wonder why someone would want to go for a walk in winter? Now is your chance to find out! Besides just enjoying the crisp winter air we may see anything from snow fleas to eagles on this easy two mile walk. Join us to see what winter has to offer. Please dress appropriately.

"Discover Norrie" programs are held monthly. For more information, call 845-889-4745 x109 or check our calendar of events link listed below. All programs will start at The Nature Center and hiking shoes are strongly recommended.
