Media Advisory: DEC to Hold Community Meeting
Post-Monitoring Results for Tonawanda Community Air Quality Study to be Discussed
Members of the public are invited to hear Thomas Gentile of the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) update the community on the results of air monitoring data that has been collected since July 2008. Results for three years of post-study measurements will be presented and discussed. Recent data that has been collected indicates reductions in the ambient concentrations of benzene and other air pollutants within the study area.
