Additional Permits?
Your project may require additional permits. For example, Protection of Waters permits are required to construct septic systems and the facilities they serve if an outfall pipe will discharge into a protected waterway or if some other portion of the facility disturbs the bed or banks of a protected stream.Unsure? Contact the Department!
If you are not sure whether your project requires more than one permit, contact the regional office which handles permits for the county where the project is located.
Please submit all the materials needed for each required permit at the same time to allow simultaneous review of the entire project. Technical review of your project may not commence until these materials are submitted.
