Surveying License Holders
DEC or designated agent(s) may use license contact information to communicate with license holders for surveys and research on New York State fish, wildlife and marine resources. The information obtained helps us to evaluate management measures and assess human interactions with fish and wildlife resources.
Interstate Wildlife Violator Compact
New York State is a member of the Interstate Wildlife Violator Compact. This means if your fish or wildlife license/permit is suspended or revoked in another member state, the same revocations or suspensions apply to you in New York State.
