Wright Lake

Elevation: 237 feet
Area: 7.7 acres
Shoreline Length: 0.5 miles
Length: 0.2 miles
Max Depth: 20 feet
Mean Depth: 9.3 feet
Town: Brunswick

Aquatic Vegetation:

Rooted aquatic vegetation limited to shoreline.

Access:

Parking area on Wright Lake Road just off Route 40/Oakwood Avenue in the City of Troy. There is also access from Frear Park.

Fish Species:

American Eel, Common Carp, White Sucker, Brown Bullhead, White Perch, Rock Bass, Pumpkinseed, Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, Black Crappie, Yellow Perch

Fishing:

Good location to fish for sunfish and 10-20 inch largemouth bass. There is plenty of action, making it a good spot to bring kids. The small amount of shoreline doesn't allow for large groups of anglers. Thick vegetation along the shoreline provides good habitat for bass.

Icefishing:

Permitted.

Regulations:

Statewide regulations apply. Possible signs with 5-fish daily limits.
