The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has added a link to a translation service developed by Microsoft Inc., entitled Bing Translator, as a convenience to visitors to the DEC website who speak languages other than English.

Aquatic Vegetation:

Abundant rooted aquatic vegetation along shoreline.


Parking lot located across from tennis courts off Frear Park Road. Trail and cart paths provide access to shoreline.

Fish Species:

American Eel, Golden Shiner, White Sucker, Brown Bullhead, Rock Bass, Pumpkinseed, Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, Black Crappie, Yellow Perch, White Perch.


Some decent panfish and largemouth bass have been reported. Steep bottom contour allows for easy casting over thick aquatic vegetation along its shoreline.
