Slide Mountain Wilderness

Slide Mountain Wilderness is the largest and most popular wilderness area in the Catskills. Extensive foot trails provide access to the remote interior, often climbing to lofty heights with spectacular views. This is a rugged, mountain wilderness area. Elevations range from 1,100 ft. to 4,180 ft.
