Although Grafton Lakes State Park is located in Rensselaer County, its elevation on the Rensselaer Plateau appeals to wildlife more representative of the Adirondacks and Catskills. Located between the Taconic and Hudson valleys, the site has five large ponds and a reservoir.
This Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation site has accessible features, including fishing and a beach. A full list of DEC's accessible recreation destinations is available on the DEC website.
