Max Depth: 32 feet
Mean Depth: 15 feet

Moderate rooted aquatic vegetation

Access:

DEC Cartop Boat Launch
Access from County Route 28 at the outlet of Kinderhook Lake in the Village of Niverville. Hand launch. Electric motors only. 15 cars. Use caution when accessing the lake at the outlet during the winter months.

Fish Species:

American Eel, Northern Pike, Chain Pickerel, Tiger Musky, Common Carp, Golden Shiner, Emerald Shiner, Common Shiner, Spotfin Shiner, Fallfish, White Sucker, Yellow Bullhead, Brown Bullhead, Channel Catfish, Fourspine Stickleback, White Perch, Rock Bass, Redbreast Sunfish, Pumpkinseed, Bluegill, Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, White Crappie, Black Crappie, Fantail Darter, Tessellated Darter, Yellow Perch, Walleye

Fishing:

The lake has an extremely large panfish population. Both smallmouth and largemouth bass can be found in the lake. Smallmouth bass are more catchable, but 6 pound largemouth bass have been reported. In recent years, annual stockings of approximately 1,100 10-11" fast growing tiger muskellunge is carried out.

Icefishing:

Permitted.
