Looking Glass Pond public access off Rossman Hill Road. The site has been renovated with a new accessible pier and walkway in 2015.

Fish Species:

Golden Shiner, Brown Bullhead, Largemouth Bass


Looking Glass Pond has a modest warmwater fish community that is susceptible to fish kills as happened during the winter of 2015. A fisheries survey during the spring of 2015 only captured golden shiners and brown bullhead; however, there have been reports of some largemouth bass being caught. The pond is planned to be restocked with legal sized largemouth bass and panfish by summer, 2016.

Fisheries Management:

Some fish habitat improvement work was completed in 2015 such as placement of limestone rock piles and toe-wood placed near the fishing pier to attract fish.
