This lake is located in southern Clinton County.

Physical Features:

Elevation: 1223 feet
Area: 424 acres
Shoreline Length: 4.2 miles
Maximum depth: 23 feet
Maximum Width: 1 mile
Length: 0.86 mile
No thermocline present
Town: Black Brook

Access:

Located 4 miles northwest of The Town Ausable Forks. Approximately 1 mile down the Fern Lake Road it splits, take the left fork onto The Narrows Road for about 0.7 miles. There is public access at the causeway. It is an informal hand launch.

Fish Species:

Walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, brown bullhead, black crappie, bluegill, pumpkinseed, yellow perch, and rock bass.

Fishing:

The lake has some interesting structure including shoals and islands to help you locate fish.

Fisheries Management:

The lake is managed as a warmwater fishery. Walleye fingerlings were stocked by NYS from 2001-2005.
