Pharsalia Y Pond

Pharsalia Y Pond is a small water body located in Pharsalia Wildlife Management Area located in the northwest Chenango County, approximately 10 miles southwest of Sherburne.

General Fishing Information

Main gamefish found in the pond are brook trout. For the brook trout, try flies, spinners or small spoons. Other good baits are worms, minnows, and artificial natural baits (like Gulp or PowerBait) fished under a bobber.

Fisheries Management

Pharsalia Y Pond is stocked annually with approximately 100 brook trout. Special regulations exist for trout in Chenango County, so please review the Special Regulations by County section of your Freshwater Fishing Guide.
