Introduction

Pelton Pond, located right off of Route 301, is best to fish from shore. A map of the trails surrounding the pond can be found at the parking area. Pelton Pond is stocked every spring with rainbow trout.

Access

Parking and trail access is provided by Fahnestock State Park. Parking is located right off of route 301 across from the Fahnestock State Park Headquarters.

Rainbow Trout, Largemouth Bass, Panfish and Bullheads
